During the month of March, Kenner Discovery faculty and students celebrated the schoolwide annual Cultural Awareness campaign. The purpose of the 4-week campaign is to celebrate our school's diversity and build cultural competence throughout the school. At Kenner Discovery, we practice peace and acceptance of all cultures! As our HEART pledge states, each student strives to “display tolerance towards those who are the same as me and those who are different than me.” This year’s campaign theme was #PassportToPeace. Each week, the students were involved in several themed activities during co-curricular classes, homeroom, lunch, and morning meeting

On Friday, Ms Linda Landry and the cafeteria staff prepared various food samples inspired from different cultures. Students and staff enjoyed tasting their way through the different cultures.
