DiscoveryFlex Canvas outage:
At this time, Canvas, as well as other AWS (Amazon Web Services), are not currently working. Teachers will be adjusting lessons for today as soon as we are able to access the platform. The students' attendance will be adjusted for the outage today; however, they should spend time today working in IXL for both math and ELA, working on assignments in Savvas, Gallopade, Amplify, other platforms, reading novels, or studying notes in all subjects. Still looking for something to do? Add some flair or final touches to that last piece of art.

We are about to start round 2 of LEAP testing here at Discovery's Hybrid Virtual Program! We wanted to alert you to a few logistical changes due to state testing: 1) The Cypress Room on both the Baton Rouge Campus and the Kenner Campus (Vintage Campus) will be CLOSED until after scheduled LEAP testing. The next available Cypress Room date will be Tuesday, 4/29. Please reach out to your teacher via email if you need assistance with your core classes. All teachers will administer the LEAP assessment, so please allow them time to reply. 2) High-Dosage Tutoring (HDT) during scheduled LEAP testing will be canceled. The next HDT Tutoring date is Wednesday, April 9th. We will not have HDT Tutoring again until Monday, 4/28. 3) All information regarding LEAP testing can be located on our website, The LEAP Lounge: https://www.discoveryhsf.org/o/discovery-fusion/page/the-leap-lounge (password: LEAP2025). Please check ALL information!
