About the Posse Foundation

The Posse Foundation is an organization that identifies, recruits, and trains student leaders from local high schools to form multicultural teams. The Posse program spans four years and is designed to ensure scholars' success by supporting them with competitive internships and other prestigious awards.

Marym went through several interviews during the Posse process and completed the "Posse's Dynamic Assessment Process (DAP)," a unique evaluation method that identifies young leaders with great potential. This process includes group and individual interviews with Posse Staff, College Partners, and Administrators. Through this process, Marym successfully earned her Posse Scholarship and, as a result, was awarded the opportunity to attend Texas A&M University.

She is one of 3 Kenner Discovery students awarded a Posse Scholarship over the past four years.
