Congratulations to senior, Miguel Garcia on being awarded the prestigious Posse Foundation scholarship! Miguel has been awarded a full, four-year scholarship to Case Western University. Miguel is a founding student and has attended Kenner Discovery since the 6th grade.
The Posse program is one of the most comprehensive and renowned college access and youth leadership development programs in the United States. Posse identifies high school students with extraordinary academic and leadership potential who may be overlooked by the traditional college selection process. Posse extends to those students the opportunity to pursue personal and academic excellence by placing them in supportive multicultural teams called “Posses”. Many apply, but few are chosen so congratulations to Miguel who was successful in acquiring this wonderful scholarship from the Posse Foundation.
