Discovery Schools is officially welcoming students and families back for the 2026-27 school year with a new network-wide theme: Swamp Owls Soar with No Limits.
Head of School Sharon Preen, M.Ed., shared the vision for the year, describing "No Limits" as the belief that every child in the Swamp Owl community has the potential to go further than they ever imagined — whether that means mastering a tough subject, building a meaningful friendship, discovering a new passion, or simply growing in confidence.
Families can expect "No Limits" to come to life throughout the year in several ways:
Campus-specific themes that put each school's own creative spin on the network-wide message
Network-wide events that bring the whole Discovery community together
Classroom lessons and challenges designed to build a growth mindset and open students' eyes to new possibilities
The 2026-27 spirit shirt, which visually represents the theme and can be worn every Wednesday
