1st - 4th Grade Back to School Night, Wednesday, September 4, 2019, from 6:00 - 7:30 We would like to invite you to our 7th Annual Lower School Back to School Night this Wednesday, Sept. 4th from 6:00 to 7:30pm. Our Back to School Night will start in the Cafeteria for 6:00 pm, where Dr. Glaser and Jim Garvey, our BESE representative will speak and our faculty and staff will be introduced. Following the introduction, parents will have the opportunity to visit with your child’s teacher and find out more about their daily activities and schedules. Parents and guardians may also visit with our co-curricular teams and learning resource center teachers and staff. At 7:30pm, our interventionists will hold a Title 1 Parent Meeting for our students in Reading and Math Interventions in the Cafeteria. The evening will end promptly at 8:00pm.

Little League World Series Champions Support Congratulations to Conner Perrot and the River Ridge baseball team on winning the Little League World Series Championship in Williamsport, Virginia yesterday! **Picture Ordering Information** The portrait ordering process has changed this year. Barberito Photographers will create a physical proof card with the student’s individual portrait and a unique access code. The proof card will be given to the specific student at school in approximately 2 to 3 weeks following the student's initial picture date. Once you receive the proof card, you may go online to barberitophotographers.com and view/order your child’s portrait. All portrait orders will be mailed to home. Orders placed within the first two weeks of receiving your proof card will eligible for Free Shipping. There are additional specials online! Parents who prefer not to use the computer system for ordering are welcomed to call the Barberito Photographers Inc. office at 504-455-6818 and place orders over the phone. If the proof card gets misplaced, please call Barberito Photographers’ office and you will be provided the code over the phone. If a student did not take a picture on Science/Book Day, then he/she will take an initial portrait on Wednesday, August 14th at one of three campuses: Jefferson, Maine, and Vintage.
