KDHSA Vintage Campus PBIS Fun Friday Snack--Pizza!! Tomorrow, November 17th. Students can buy pizza for $2/slice. Lemonade and/or water will be sold for $0.50. All proceeds will be used for future PBIS events and activities. Students can pre-order pizza slices by visiting the link and completing the form sent to them via email yesterday.
KDHSA Families:
All 4th - 8th grade students are invited to the New Orleans Bowl on Saturday, Dec 16th for the Science of Football clinic. The clinic will take place before the game and all participants will be recognized at halftime on the field. There will be a great mix of STEM in football and lots of fun for the kids. Kenner Discovery High School's Open House provides the opportunity for KDHSA Middle School students and families to meet administration/teachers, tour the campus, and learn more about the characteristics that make Kenner Discovery a unique and great choice for high school.

Middle School interactions: What’s appropriate?
KDHSA 6th - 8th Grade Families:
Over the next few weeks 6th - 8th grade students will participate in a campaign titled, “Middle School interactions: What’s appropriate?” The purpose of this campaign is to ensure middle school students have a better sense of healthy boundaries and their rights as students. During the 8th period block, a series of Advisory lessons will be assigned to supplement information students receive at our 6th - 8th grade assemblies.
Should you have any questions or concerns regarding our campaign, please contact Michelle McCrary, LPC (michelle.mccrary@discoveryhsf.org). Ms. McCrary is the KDHSA Director of Counseling Services and also serves our campus wide Title IX coordinator.

Lower School Fall Fest Attire Guidelines
Fall Fest Attire: At KDHSA, we want to promote literacy and our HEART tenets as much as possible, therefore we are encouraging students to dress up as their favorite book character or their favorite superhero.
Students may also wear a fall outfit, costume, or spirit shirt for Fall Fest. Costumes worn must be school appropriate - no masks, tattoos, tank tops, spaghetti straps, morphsuits, sleeveless shirts, scary blood, or gory costumes are allowed. Girls wearing a skirt above the knee must also wear tights, leggings, or shorts underneath. No shirts/skirts/shorts/pants with holes are allowed. Students’ stomachs should be covered. No face paint, body paint, or colored hair spray is allowed.
