KDHSA will hold a food drive to benefit families in need through Joey’s Hope NOLA. We are asking our students to bring in non-perishable food items and canned goods November 6th - 15th. If a student donates $1, he/she will be allowed to wear a Black, Gold, or White Saints jersey or Saints shirt along with their uniform bottom. For Pre-K/K girls, the jersey or shirt can be worn over the uniform dress. All students must wear their normal uniform bottoms. (NO tank tops, spaghetti straps, or sleeveless shirts are allowed.) Lower School Fall Fest Attire Guidelines
Fall Fest Attire: At KDHSA, we want to promote literacy and our HEART tenets as much as possible, therefore we are encouraging students to dress up as their favorite book character or their favorite superhero.
Students may also wear a fall outfit, costume, or spirit shirt for Fall Fest. Costumes worn must be school appropriate - no masks, tattoos, tank tops, spaghetti straps, morphsuits, sleeveless shirts, scary blood, or gory costumes are allowed. Girls wearing a skirt above the knee must also wear tights, leggings, or shorts underneath. No shirts/skirts/shorts/pants with holes are allowed. Students’ stomachs should be covered. No face paint, body paint, or colored hair spray is allowed.

PLEASE make sure you are following the KDHSA guidelines tomorrow with regards to dress-downs.

Students may pay $5 to participate in all days listed. Payment must be submitted by Monday, 10/23. Students also have the option to pay $1 per day to participate in any of the days listed from October 23rd - October 30th. Students do not have to pay $1 to dress down on October 31st.
Participation in Red Ribbon Week is optional. Students are not required to participate.
