Subject: Morning & Afternoon Carpool Good Evening Swamp Owl Parents: Please practice patience with carpool as we begin the 2017-18 school year. While we have "all hands on deck", remember that faculty will be standing in the heat and inclement weather until all students are safely loaded in vehicles. Only 5th-8th grade students can be picked up on 26th St. If you have students younger than 5th grade, use the horseshoe as usual. We will monitor the carpool to ensure that it runs smoothly. 2017-18 Arrival and Dismissal – Maine Avenue Campus We are very excited for the beginning of the new school year. We would like to share one of our most important daily procedures, so we can have successful beginnings and endings to each school day. Carpool is a challenging part of the school day, so please be extra patient with fellow drivers and neighbors. We request that all cars stay to the side of the street and not block neighbors’ driveways. Remember we share Maine St. with St. Lawrence located directly across the street. Their employees and visitors must be allowed passage. Our faculty and employees work the carpool lines, in all kinds of weather, to ensure the safety of your children. They are enforcing our school rules. Please be patient and kind, and follow their directions. All students should be dropped off in the carpool line. In accordance with a City of Kenner Ordinance, parents are not allowed to park and walk students. Please click on the link below to access the Arrival and Dismissal procedures for the Maine Avenue campus. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BxXJiQ3cqECpdllxcUdYbGFHM0E
